1. Who we are

These terms apply to bookings made on this site with Subway Skaters Lisbon, Lisboa, Portugal, contact bookings@subwayskaters.pt / +351 967 739 828.

2. The service

We provide in-person group skate lessons in Lisbon, in two disciplines: street skate and longboard. Lessons take place at the agreed location, date and time. Lessons are in groups; we cannot guarantee one-to-one instruction unless agreed in writing.

3. Booking

You book through the online form, choosing a discipline, plan, date and time. Your booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email. We may decline or cancel a booking if the session is full, the weather is unsafe, or the instructor is unavailable.

4. Prices

• /Single lesson: 15€
• /Monthly plan: 40€
• /Gear rental: 5€ per session
• /Prices are in euros and include VAT where applicable.

5. Payment

Payment is made in person, before or at the start of the lesson. We do not take payment online and we do not store card details.

6. Cancellation and rescheduling

• /You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before the lesson start time.
• /Changes less than 48 hours before may be rescheduled once, at our discretion.
• /Because payment is in person, the session is counted as used against a monthly plan, or the agreed fee remains due.

7. No-show

If you do not attend without cancelling, the lesson is treated as delivered: a single lesson is forfeited and a monthly-plan session is counted as used.

8. Weather and safety

Skating is an outdoor activity. If conditions are unsafe (rain, wet surfaces, etc.) we may cancel or move the lesson. If we cancel, you may reschedule at no cost.

9. Assumption of risk

Skateboarding and longboarding are physical activities that carry a real risk of injury, including serious injury. By booking and attending, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You confirm you are physically fit to take part and will follow the instructor’s safety instructions. We strongly recommend a helmet and protective gear.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Portuguese law, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from the ordinary risks of the activity or from your failure to follow safety instructions or to use appropriate protective equipment. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Minors

Participants under 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must make the booking, accept these terms on the minor’s behalf, and confirm the minor is fit to take part.

12. Equipment rental

Rental gear (boards, protective equipment) is for use during the lesson only, at the price in the Prices clause. You agree to use it carefully and return it in the condition you received it. You are responsible for loss or damage caused by misuse or negligence.

13. Your data

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes are subject to the competent Portuguese courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer and to alternative dispute resolution.
